Why Surf Like a Girl?

Ever since I was a little girl, I've heard the same line: “Wow… you rip. You surf like a man.”

Then one day I felt like turning that line inside out. Because, honestly? We don't want to surf like a man.

We want to rip, with style, flow, power, personality… and surf exactly “JUST LIKE A GIRL”

xx, Marina

Trained and certified with the world's best coaches

For more than 15 years, Marina Rezende lived surfing as a professional athlete: competing, travelling and building her life around her own performance.

Until she realised there was an important piece missing from that journey: sharing.

What began with no big plan, just helping other people progress in their surfing, took on purpose, study and methodology.

That's how Surf Like a Girl was born: surf training made for women, combining an athlete's experience with the principles of learning and development, alongside something that has always been part of the best memories in surfing, sharing the line-up with your crew.

Today, Surf Like a Girl has grown into a women's training network, with its own methodology and different coaches in different places around the world.

From learning to training, we're a team helping people surf better and building a new line-up.
